    ER Patented Impact Resistant Door NSF Approved

    Energy Reclaim, Inc. introduces our top of the line, ER Impact Resistant Door and Frame.  Patented May 27, 2014, it is a superior replacement door for walk-in coolers and freezers. Its innovative design consists of a high impact-resistant surface and a reinforced wood structure which makes it capable of withstanding impacts from pallet jacks, forklifts and hand trucks. It is built to outlast any commercial walk-in door on today's market.

    Custom Strip Curtains

    We use plastic strip curtain materials specially made for your coolers and freezers:  less flexibility for coolers, and increased flexibility for freezing temperatures.  Strips overlap by 1 inch for better sealing.  Curtain is hung 6” to 8” above the header. This has proven to ease pass-through for pallets and increase longevity of the curtain.  

    We use a superior mounting system for maximum strength.  

    The system also allows us to replace one or more strips easily.

    ER Jambs

    ER Jambs (door frames) are designed to replace broken jambs that have lost their structural integrity (primarily due to ice infiltration). Energy Reclaim is the only company that removes broken material and replaces it with our jamb. Backer boards are installed with 100% polyurethane and 3 1/2" zinc coated lag bolts, to make an airtight seal.

Years of problem solving for our stores gave us insight to improve the products we were repairing.  In 1999, we started crafting our own designs. 

We currently manufacture our patented cooler and freezer doors.  We also manufacture door frames, thresholds, glass door replacement gaskets, and other related hardware.

Since 1980, the owners of Energy Reclaim, Inc. have been reclaiming energy by providing cold door repair and replacement services for convenience stores, mid-sized markets, and large supermarkets. Our experience uniquely equips us to repair doors and boxes that others can only replace. Our technicians repair typical wear and tear of walk-in and reach-in doors, which saves you money and extends the life of your equipment. If the repairs are too extreme, we can replace doors, jambs, and thresholds.
